Yamaha’s 250cc 4-stroke WR Enduro models have been some of the most innovative and competitive bikes in recent years – and the good news for 2009 is that a new 125cc version is here! Designed specifically for road and off road riding, this all-new full-sized machine benefits from Yamaha’s radical next generation off road styling, giving you serious credibility on the street and in the dirt! For instant, free-revving performance the WR125R is equipped with a fuel-injected liquid-cooled 4-stroke 4-valve SOHC single cylinder engine – and to ensure impressive off road potential, this all-new 125 is equipped with a 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel fitted with dual-purpose tires. The 240mm front and 220mm rear wavy discs deliver effective stopping power with plenty of feel – while the 930mm seat height and the handlebar/seat/footrest relationship are designed to enable the rider to stand up when riding off road for increased comfort and control.
